My Fitness Reflection

Do you think you have improved, maintained or dropped in your fitness levels? Be specific with your answers using examples from the areas that we assessed during the year.

I felt that I have improved and maintained in all of my fitness levels. For the pacer test, I have improved from 60 to 80 which is a huge difference and it shows my effort to make myself more fit than before. I was sick for a while so I had to do the pacer test while I had a sore throat so not surprisingly, I have maintained the same score. I have improved on the fitness tests thanks to my parents forcing me to do swimming every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Swimming is the hardest sport that I have ever experienced because my teacher always gives us anaerobic drills. I also improved by after-school activities like tennis, badminton,   basketball, etc.

Which area have do you feel is your strongest area of fitness?

I felt that the 10-minute swim test was the strongest area of fitness because I have been doing lot's of swimming lessons, competitions, etc. Since I have experience, tall, and fit, I scored around 20 laps for the 10-minute swim test which is a big improvement over 7th grade.

Which area have your shown the most growth?

The most areas that I have shown the most growth would be the 10-minute swim test and the pacer test. In the first pacer test for 7th grade, I scored around 60 laps. But for the second and the third test, I scored both 80 laps which is a huge difference. This shows that I have been working hard to trying to improve on my stamina, running, fitness, etc. For the swim test, last year I scored 16 but this year I scored 20 laps which shows tremendous amount of growth. It's like doing a lap in every 30 seconds. Which area has been the most challenging for you?

I think that the dips test is the most challenging for me because it is a very tiring test for my arms. I think that I got around 10 dips or lower this year which means that I have to work on the muscle on my arms to be able to get a higher score.
